esome Reduced Manual Effort Involved in Monthly Invoicing with ADvendio’s End-to-End Solution
esome a media outcome manager, based in Germany supports advertisers in achieving their advertising goals, across all digital channels and digital environments, using esome’s own tool ELI. From branding to performance and along the entire customer journey esome is working with advertisers to deliver the best-proven results in media outcomes.
Looking for a fully integrated CRM system including offer and invoicing processes, esome contacted ADvendio for assistance. The key challenge was to customize a CRM solution to work with esome’s special product and offering structure, while also ensuring a direct connection to esome’s campaign management tool, ELI, to automate the creation and distribution of invoice PDFs. Before the implementation of ADvendio’s end-to-end solution, esome’s invoicing process was highly manual, error-prone, and time-consuming.

- Reduce the effort required to manually create and dispatch a high number of monthly invoices

esome has successfully implemented ADvendio’s AMS and Finance packages, hence utilizing object-setup for media campaigns, campaign items, and invoice records to improve data structure across all functions. ADvendio’s ‘Billing Run ‘ feature along with ‘Pre-invoices’ and ‘Invoice Wizard’ has been the perfect solutions to address the difficulties of the invoicing process esome previously faced. Furthermore, ADvendio’s customized solution allowed for full system integration of the campaign management tool ELI improving work efficiency and implementation time.

“Source of truth: We were able to get a complete and clear picture of our projects early on thanks to the ADvendio object setup (Media Campaigns). We were also able to produce PDFs and send out each invoice correctly using Salesforce.
Bulk dispatch: Using the ADvendio Invoice Wizard and properly connecting our ELI tool to Salesforce, we were able to send out more than 60% of our invoices with only a few clicks thanks to automation. As a result, issuing up to 400 invoices a day.
Full process: It got even better once we set up our own customized incoming invoice process (which is one of two sources for sending out our invoices) using the ADvendio Invoice Wizard. Our billing process is now 85% automated.”
In the future, esome would be happy to engage ADvendio on other projects e.g. to develop an agency or client collaboration self-service portal within Salesforce, for advertisers to manage their bookings and invoices.
