Account Manager (UK Market)

ADvendio is a leading multi-channel advertising management platform for media companies.  Overview


We are looking for a talented Account Manager who is experienced in selling business solution software. This person will contribute to the following goals:


  • Increase ADvendio's presence and adoption in the UK market.
  • Build customer relationships and create long-term partnerships in the region.

Your Responsibilities:


Pre-Sales


  • Present the ADvendio product to prospects through solution demonstrations tailored to the customer's requirements.
  • To be familiar with the features of the system and the benefits which flow to our customer base. 
  • To be conversant with our customer success stories.
  • To describe the landscape of integrations the ADvendio platform supports to ad servers, DSP's /SSP's and ERP solutions.
  • To manage the RFI/RFP process for your region, collaborating with technical, delivery and other relevant teams to ensure that ADvendio provides comprehensive responses which meet or exceed customer requirements.

Business Development


  • Manage a leads pipeline to generate new business in the region, which meets or exceeds the annual target.
  • Continue to grow the pipeline and prospect opportunities to increase revenues and profitability year on year.
  • Be able to develop and execute strategic sales plans for the region which identify growth opportunities.
  • Follow a structured sales process, from qualification, product presentation, price negotiation and deal closure.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer engagement, account plans and activities within the ADvendio CRM system.
  • Manage a portfolio of media accounts, building long-term, consultative relationships with stakeholders and influencers within these media organisations.
  • Be able to manoeuvre sales conversations between IT/Procurement, commercial sales teams and senior executives, recognising the different needs, drivers and desired outcomes of each of these functional roles.
  • Preparation and delivery of customer-facing presentations and proposals which fully describe the ADvendio value proposition.
  • Disseminate the UK market insights into the lead generation and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and lead generation team members as necessary to fulfil campaign-driven activities for your territory.
  • Generate short-term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation.
  • Build a network of long-term partnerships, with the aim of broadening ADvendio’s reach into the region.

Account Management


  • Identify and build on opportunities to generate incremental revenue through increased user numbers, upselling the ADvendio platform, and extending integrations.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with your portfolio of media customers post contract. Ensure that there is a regular dialogue with decision-makers and stakeholders, to maximise engagement adoption and customer success.
  • Be the escalation point for any account-based issues that require resolution in conjunction with delivery and implementation teams.
  • Recognise the optimum timing to plan and execute a contract re-negotiation.

About You


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 2+ years of experience in selling business software preferably as a SaaS solution.
  • Proven ability to nurture and close new business.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising and ad serving technologies is a plus.
  • Experience of using the Salesforce CRM system is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English. An additional language would be advantageous.
  • You are a great communicator with strong oral and written English skills.
  • You are proactive, a team player and possess a strong drive with a positive mindset.
  • Ability to travel is a must.

Lead Generation Executive

 Your Tasks:


  • Responsible for processing inbound sales inquiries.
  • Conducting outbound prospecting campaigns (both call and email) in order to identify opportunities that meet the minimum qualification criteria for Sales.

  • Daily update of the CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline data.

  • Follow up on leads and conduct online demonstrations.
  • Support the sales team in actively moving Opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Manage data within salesforce.com
  • Prepare and analyze pipeline reports and dashboards.

 About You:


  • Bachelor’s degree, communications or a related field.
  • 1-3 years telemarketing or inside sales experience.
  • Experience with salesforce.com or other CRM software highly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement lead generation strategies and activities with confidence and accountability.
  • Ability to monitor and analyse performance data accurately, and present/report regularly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English as mother tongue, further European languages a plus.
