The fourth quarter at ADvendio has been exceptionally active. We attended events, introduced fresh product updates, and bolstered our team through expansion efforts. Here’s a detailed summary of what we’ve been up to during this fourth quarter:

Industry Events

This quarter, we enjoyed attending multiple events in the advertising technology sector.

NAB NYC and AdWeek

Date: October 7th-10th

Location: New York

ADvendio had a really busy week when both NAB NYC and AdWeek converged on New York City! The theme of the moment was, as it has been, Artificial Intelligence. A myriad of new tools, solutions, and thought leadership were touted throughout the conventions. Prognosticators were posting that people interested in the technology needed to be judicious about how they employed AI in their workflows. The consensus seemed to indicate that AI used as a tool, and not a human replacement, would win the day. IE, use AI to complement your existing workforce so that they can do more with less.

Another interesting point was the growth of Commerce Media. Retail Media has been the hot topic du jour for the past couple of years. There are plenty of companies that hold large swaths of 1st-party data that aren’t retailers. For example, United Airlines unveiled its new commerce media product to the industry. More and more companies are looking inward, especially as most prepare for some market turbulence in the coming years.

Retail Media Summit

Date: November 13th-14th

Location: London

The inaugural retail media summit, run by FT Events, offered the opportunity to hear the latest news and trends within the retail media industry, with a diverse audience of technology and retailers across Europe and the Middle East. It was especially fascinating considering the recent closing of ADvendio’s first large UK retail client, with an opportunity to learn more about the approaches being undertaken by their competition.

Digiday Publishing Summit Europe

Date: October 28th-30th

Location: Barcelona

Digiday Publishing Summit Europe event offered the chance to get back in touch with ADvendio’s roots within the traditional publishing industry. We heard from a range of publishers on the importance of direct relationships, influencer marketing, first-party data strategies, and much more.

Product Updates

We are pleased to announce that the latest and most current version 2.173 of ADvendio is available for download and installation by all customers. Significant enhancements include:

  • Slack: ADvendio is excited to introduce Slack integration, and notification management within the Slack app. This allows users to create and customize notifications for key updates, such as Media Campaign stage changes. With a user-friendly interface, teams can set up notifications tailored to specific users. Integrated directly into Slack, this UI supports flexible notification settings to enhance real-time collaboration and ensure stakeholders are informed instantly.
  • Media Buying enhancements: Our latest updates bring the features of the Google DV360 and Xandr integrations to a new level. For DV360, we’ve enabled audience segment targeting and improved handling for Buying Campaigns. On Xandr, we’ve introduced support for Frequency Capping, Pacing options for Buying Orders and Pacing Percentages for Buying Items. We also added Reporting Labels, Inventory Type selection, and the option to select an Unlimited Budget.
  • Custom Key Value and Audience Segment Grouping: We listened to your feedback and are happy to announce that our customers can now define custom grouping for Key Values and Audience Segments to make the selection easier and more structured.
  • Criteo Platform integration: We’re excited to announce a new integration between the ADvendio and the Criteo platform. This integration enables seamless collaboration and enhanced efficiency for campaigns, helping our customers streamline workflows and reduce manual efforts across platforms.   • Delta BETA III release: With this release, we have covered another milestone: Campaign, Invoice, and Invoice item cancellation. Keep us posted on the testing progress.

New Hires

Globally Growing Team:

We are pleased to announce four new additions to our team during Q4. Audrey Goebel and Matko Mrakovcic have joined the Sales team as Account Executives. Francisca Riquelme has joined the Back Office & Internal Operations team as Assistant to the CTO. Antoine Klomp has joined the HR team as Senior HR Manager.
