Industry Events

This quarter, we enjoyed attending and sponsoring multiple events in the advertising technology sector.

AdMonsters Publishers Forum

Date: August 4th-6th

Location: Boston

We were delighted to sponsor this year’s Publisher Forum. Samantha Giaver, Global Head of Sales, and Matt Rohrs, Sales Director, represented ADvendio at AdMonsters Publisher Forum in Boston. The event pushed vendors and publishers alike to concentrate on some of the issues plaguing the industry as a whole. Of particular note were news publishers.

They’ve been hammered lately by declining revenues at a time when they’re busier than ever. WaPo presented info that shows that advertising adjacent to “touchy subjects” actually does not impact a viewer’s brand perception. Moreover, CheckMyAds alleged that advertisers should be more concerned about their ads ending up in negative places via programmatic pipes.

The overall message was: “Know where your advertising dollars are going, and have tighter controls over your tech stack.”

Paris Retail Week

Location: Paris

Maria Gracia Gomez attended Paris Retail Week. The event was filled with incredible insights, inspiring conferences, and exciting new connections with leaders across the retail space. We explored the latest innovations and trends shaping the industry’s future.

Q3 2024: Company Review Advendio

DMEXCO

Date: September 18th-19th

Location: Cologne

This year, we sponsored a Networking Space at DMEXCO. DMEXCO has always been an incredibly successful event for us, speaking with existing customers and prospects alike. This year was even more so, with the additional success of a client/partner dinner and a very popular networking event at the booth. It is always a pleasure to meet the various leaders that sit across our industry, but notable was the amount of new ad tech at the event and the increasing presence of retailers. Across the two days, we had over 50 meetings and will undoubtedly be there again in 2025.

Q3 2024: Company Review Advendio

Digiday Publishing Summit

Date: September 23rd-25th

Location: Miami, FL

Our Sales Director, Matt Rohrs, attended the Digiday Publishing Summit in Miami. The themes that carried the day were centered around using AI to help companies like Dow Jones and Disney gain efficiencies across their organizations. These efficiencies came in the form of empowering their salespeople to spend more time with clients and less time putting together plans and revisions, increasing the yield of their sales by increasing efficiencies across previously unconnected silos (unification), as well as removing as many “bumps” along the way that have existed in the sales process for decades. These uses of AI mirror many of ADvendio’s plans for the platform and prove that we are at the bleeding edge of adtech’s forefront!

Programmatic Spain – Programmatic Morning Retail Media

Location: Madrid

Maria Gracia Gomez attended the Programmatic Retail Media morning at Programmatic Spain. The agenda for this year’s event was a review of what has already been done, with presentations of success stories from agencies in retail media organizations, success stories from retailers with the special launch of a new retail that is coming into play and that will change the rules of the game, and stories from the most prominent brands.

In July, we were excited to announce our new features in the Summer ‘24 Release:

  • Booking Calendar Availability Mode: The new mode allows users to set availability independently of amount calculation, improving flexibility and accuracy in managing exclusive digital CPM products.
  • Enhanced Programmatic Features: Integrations with Xandr Programmatic Guaranteed Deals and Programmatic RFP Import for Google Ad Manager streamline setup, management, and efficiency of programmatic campaigns.
  • AI Pilot Project: We are launching an AI Pilot Test phase with Salesforce Einstein and CRM Analytics, offering dynamic predictions, real-time insights, and customizable AI-enhanced dashboards.
  • OmniBudget Overview: This feature allows agencies to create detailed media plans and view planning per channel for an entire year, improving budget management and campaign planning.
  • Delta Invoicing Solution: Delta Invoicing enables campaign adjustments without canceling previously invoiced items and is available for sandbox testing.

Globally Growing Team:

We are pleased to announce three new additions to our team during Q3. Kevin Squyres has joined the Sales team as Sales Director. Thomas Duggan has joined the Marketing team as Growth Marketing Manager. Thomas will cover for Michaela Walsh while she is on maternity leave. Livia Varga has joined the HR team as Country Manager of Chile.
