During the second quarter of 2024, ADvendio experienced a very productive period. We actively sponsored events, organized global team meetings, introduced product updates, and grew our team through expansion efforts. Here’s a detailed summary of what we’ve been up to during Q2:

This quarter, we enjoyed attending and sponsoring multiple events in the advertising technology sector.

AdTech Economic Forum

Date: April 24th

We were proud to sponsor the AdTech Economic Forum this year, hosted by Beeler Tech. Our CEO, Bernd Bube, and Samantha Giaver, Global Head of Sales, were delighted to attend and meet so many leaders from within the advertising and finance industry. The event addressed industry challenges, opportunities, growth, and value creation viewed through economic fundamentals and valuation.

Q2 2024: Company Review Advendio

Beeler Tech Navigator NYC

Date: May 1st

Matt Rohrs, Sales Director, attended Beeler Tech Navigator NYC. This event focused on many of the current issues facing publishers including: cookie depreciation, the rise of AI and how to harness its power, and the shifting sands of incoming government regulation of PII across the United States. Matt enjoyed attending the event adding, “it was great to strategize with our colleagues on how to address many of these important impending changes to the industry.”

AdMonsters Ops

Date: June 3rd and 4th

Samantha Giaver, Global Head of Sales, and Matt Rohrs, Sales Director, represented ADvendio at AdMonsters Ops in New York. We were delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor this year’s event. The particular theme of notice was that publishers are doing more with less, in large part thanks to client self-service portals. A key takeaway for our team at this year’s event was, publishers who have implemented self-serve technology have seen efficiency gains between 15-20%!

Q2 2024: Company Review Advendio

Beeler Tech Navigator London

Date: June 11th

Angus Dowie, Regional Sales Manager EMEA and APAC, and Jens Hansen, Account Manager, Northern Europe, attended Beeler Tech Navigator London. This event offered an opportunity to share a room with the UK’s leading publishers and engage in roundtables across a wide range of topics that were pertinent to them. Top of the agenda was the shifting requirements of a premium publisher, a big focus on growing direct revenue, self-service, AI, compliance, and much more. As publishers dictated the focus sessions, it ensured that the conversation focused on their priorities, and it was an important opportunity for ADvendio to be part of the conversation to stay close to what publishers are being challenged by in the industry, so we can better serve our current and future customers.

Path2Purchase Retail Media Summit

Date: June 25th – 27th

Matt Rohrs, Sales Director, attended the Path2Purchase Retail Media Summit. The program gathered leading experts on retail media for content sessions, idea exchange, and networking to help attendees tap into the full power of retail media in the ever-evolving world of omnicommerce.

ADvendio in Action: Webedia’s Success Story

Date: May 15th

ADvendio proudly presented our first French-speaking webinar this quarter. Maria Gracia Gomez A, ADvendio’s Agency Account Executive and Country Manager for France, Spain, and Canada, spoke with our valued customer Franck HAIBLE, Program Manager Workday & Salesforce at Webedia, as they explored Webedia’s journey to date with the ADvendio solution.

Maria and Franck discussed three key use cases, including;

  • Inventory Availability in Real Time
  • Multiple Ad Servers for Multiple Legal Entities
  • Combining Different Types of Cost in a Single Campaign

Retail Media Insights Panel: Exploring Audiences, Monetization, and Instore vs Digital

ADvendio was proud to present a Retail Media Insights Panel in May. The webinar was hosted by Angus Dowie, Regional Sales Manager EMEA and APAC. He was joined by industry experts, Jorn Zwetsloot from Ahold Delhaize (ADvendio customer), Wouter Hulst MBA, 2-0-1 Connected Media (ADvendio Partner), and Lisa Goller, MBA, Lisa Goller Marketing.

Product Updates

We’re excited to announce several key updates to ADvendio’s media buying capabilities. Our Media Buying Enhancements now support adjustments in running buying campaigns. We’ve introduced a new Flight Overview functionality, allowing users to generate comprehensive Media Plans over time through an intuitive report. Our Campaign Management API has been upgraded to support the creation of campaign packages, ensuring consistent data for campaign items via the API. We’re also launching the first phase of Programmatic 2.0, enhancing our programmatic capabilities for publishers and improving Programmatic Guaranteed offering.

New Hires

Globally Growing Team:

We are pleased to announce three new additions to our team this quarter. Matias Romeo and Camilo Durán have joined the QA team in Chile as Software QA Testers. Katja Frank has joined the Back Office and HR team as an Accountant. Leonardo Barrera has joined the Support team as a Support Analyst.

We warmly welcome Matias, Camilo, Katja, and Leonardo as they take on important roles in developing and strengthening our workforce.

Trips

Julian and Vivien Visited the Team in Chile

ADvendio’s CTO, Julian Ahrends, and ADvendio’s Internal Operations Manager, Vivien Rieckmann, visited the team in our Viña del Mar office in Chile. Julian and Vivien were excited to catch up with both new and old team members. This was a great opportunity for the team to collaborate and work towards ADvendio’s continued growth.

Global Team Meeting | Mid-Year Update

At the halfway point of 2023, ADvendio conducted a global town hall meeting, bringing together colleagues from our US, Chile, Germany, Ireland, and UK offices. The meeting focused on departmental updates, goal alignment, and long-term strategies for ADvendio’s strategic roadmap.
