During the first quarter of 2025, ADvendio experienced a very productive period. We attended events, organized global team meetings, introduced fresh product updates, and bolstered our team through expansion efforts. Here’s a detailed summary of what we’ve been up to during this first quarter:
Industry Events
This quarter, we had the pleasure of attending multiple events in the advertising technology sector.
CES in Las Vegas
Date: January 7th-10th
Matthew M. Rohrs, Sales Director, and Kevin Squyres, Sales Director attended CES in Las Vegas. CES marks the year’s official start for those of us in the ad-tech space. As expected, AI was a regular point of conversation throughout the event. Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, spoke at the larger CES conference to a completely packed arena, driving home the importance of the technology and the hardware that supports it’s surge in usage and popularity. ADvendio’s conversations touched on AI as well. Several prospects were on hand to talk through their roadmap for the product, including usage in creative creation, data analytics, connections, and campaign management and creation.
Not everything was solely focused on AI, however. Another area of focus for the conference was Self-Service. Prospects are itching to utilize the new technology to target their smaller clients but are unsure how to leverage it properly. Strategies and business models were the main point of conversation, with low/no upfront cost dominating. With a low/no-upfront cost, prospects are able to experiment and develop an approach to using this new and important tech, with ADvendio all too happy to help oblige.
Vegas wouldn’t be Vegas without some glam! ADvendio was a proud sponsor of the Strangers No More event with a 70’s disco theme which saw more than 1,000 people RSVP. Drinks, dinner, and a jaw-dropping roller-skating disco-drama filled the night with fun and frolic. Attendees will not soon forget the singing and the dancing that followed. What a night!

CES Las Vegas
Digiday Publishing Summit Vail
Date: March 24th-26th
Our Sales Director, Matthew M. Rohrs, and Account Executive, Audrey Goebel, attended the Digiday Publishing Summit in Vail. Matt and Audrey joined an influential group of media executives, uncovering solutions and strategies to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.
The event brought together industry leaders to discuss the latest trends in digital publishing. From programmatic strategies to data-driven content and innovative monetization models, the event provided valuable insights to help publishers thrive in a dynamic media landscape. We’re excited to continue these conversations as we support our clients in navigating the complexities of today’s media environment.
Dozens of publishers descended upon the slopes to talk about some of the most pressing issues that face our industry today. Of particular note was the transition of traditional publishers to focus more on data and digital while shoring up their core legacy businesses, like AMC. This mirrors the focus of many publishers looking to do more across their entire offering. This includes bulking up and refocusing on things like events, audio, or even email. The key Takeaway from the event was that publishers need tools that are both flexible and far-reaching. All things that ADvendio excels in!

Staff Events
Global Team Meeting
As we stepped into 2025, we kicked off the year with a global team meeting connecting our offices and coworkers in the US, Chile, Germany, Ireland, and the UK.
This discussion covered important departmental updates and goals as well as long-term strategies for ADvendio’s strategic roadmap.
Sales Kick-Off Meeting
At the beginning of February 2025, the international ADvendio sales team met in sunny Lisbon to prepare for the year ahead. From all corners of the world, the team came together to share learnings and review 2024, plan and identify opportunities in 2025, and foster an improved level of collaboration.
It was the first time the entire team had been in the same place for 12 months, so it was a very rare and valuable opportunity to share knowledge with team members, old and new. As the team targets a record year in 2025, retail media, CTV, broadcast, and media groups were at the top of the agenda, along with emerging first-party data-driven media players who are beginning to emerge as part of the broader RMN development in the market.
Team spirits were very high, and the sales team is looking forward to 2025 with a new level of confidence and ambition as ADvendio charts a bold path forward for the year.
