Camila Vivanco joins the ADvendio global sales operations team as a Business Development Representative, working closely with our global sales team. We are excited to welcome her to our sales team.

Camila has a background in consulting and B2B sales and enjoys strategic and analytical challenges, especially in sales and marketing. She is passionate about business intelligence and data decision-making and was drawn to ADvendio due to its dynamic sales environment and the opportunity to connect with businesses in the tech space.

We recently spoke with Camila to learn more about her professional background and expectations for her new role at ADvendio.

1. Tell us about your background.

In my previous roles, I’ve gained experience in multiple areas, including business analysis, benchmarking, and competitive intelligence, which allowed me to attend industry conferences and develop a strong foundation in business development—particularly in the MedTech sector. I have also worked in sales, engaging with clients, identifying business opportunities, and driving growth strategies. Additionally, I have experience in market research and data analysis, generating valuable client insights. In my most recent marketing role, I focused on content production, optimizing social media engagement, and collaborating closely with sales development. I enjoy staying updated on the latest trends and technologies, and this diverse experience has helped me develop a strong ability to adapt to changing markets and different business areas.

2. What’s your job title and the regions you’re focused on?

I am joining ADvendio as a Business Development Representative (BDR), primarily focused on the EMEA region. I’m excited about the opportunity to connect with professionals across different industries and contribute by generating and nurturing inbound and outbound leads.

3. Why are you interested in sales development?

Having worked in both sales and marketing, I’ve come to appreciate the value of relationship-building in driving business success. Connecting with clients and understanding their needs has always been a motivating factor for me. Sales development excites me because it offers the opportunity to not only generate results but also forge meaningful connections that contribute to long-term growth. I thrive in environments where I can engage with people and help them find solutions, and I’m eager to bring this passion to my role at ADvendio.

4. How has your previous experience prepared you for your role with ADvendio?

My diverse professional background has equipped me with essential skills such as communication, relationship-building, and adaptability. Having worked in multicultural environments, I’ve learned the importance of understanding different perspectives, which is key in fostering strong business relationships. I believe these experiences will help me succeed in my role at ADvendio.

5. What expectations do you have for this new role in ADvendio?

I’m excited to grow within ADvendio, and expand my knowledge in SaaS solutions while actively contributing to the team’s success. I look forward to bringing in new opportunities and delivering strong results in a dynamic and fast environment.

6. Is there anything else you would like to add?

I’m thrilled to be part of ADvendio and eager to make an impact. I also have a strong interest in the tech space and enjoy the nature of sales—it keeps me engaged and constantly learning. Outside of work, I like staying active by going to the gym and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I also enjoy exploring Viña del Mar and taking in everything the city has to offer.
