ADvendio opens office in Spain
Elena Costa becomes Sales Manager Spain and Latin America
ADvendio, provider of order management solutions for cross media advertising, strengthens its presence in Spain. Elena Costa will immediately take over the role of Sales Manager for Spain and Latin America at the Barcelona site. In Spain ADvendio already supports leading media houses like Publipress Media with the high-circulation titles La Vanguardia and El Mundo Deportivo and the online travel portal eDreams ODIGEO. With the consulting company Kaizenstep ADvendio also has a long-standing local partner who supports the customer service in the market. Elena Costa is responsible for further developing ADvendio’s business in Spanish-speaking countries. The 28-year old reports directly to Manuel Koubek, Vice President Marketing & Sales Europe.
“Elena Costa is the perfect match for our team,” says Manuel Koubek pleased with the new addition. “Her experience – both in the media world and in the area of digital advertising technology – will help us to better understand the needs of potential customers on site and to respond to these requirements individually. In Spain too, we want to support media companies with the transition to automation and digitization of processes. Therefore, the further investment in on-site staff was a logical next step.“
Before joining ADvendio Elena Costa was working at Smart AdServer in Madrid. As a sales account manager she was responsible for customers in Spain and Latin America. Her responsibilities included the development of relations with existing and new customers as well as the development of the customer portfolio in the markets. This included the coordination of marketing and communication campaigns. Prior to that, the studied journalist worked for various media companies; both online publications and radio stations as well as in print. Among other things, she worked three years for the national daily newspaper El Mundo.
