The fourth quarter at ADvendio has been exceptionally active. We attended events, introduced new product updates, and expanded our team through strategic efforts. Here’s a detailed summary of what we’ve been up to during this quarter:

Industry Events

This quarter, we had the pleasure of attending and sponsoring multiple events in the advertising technology sector.

Retail Media Summit UK

Location: London

Date: October 15th

Angus Dowie, Head of Sales, and Sara Benkirane, Commercial Account Executive at ADvendio, attended the SMG-hosted Retail Media Summit 2025, where ADvendio also proudly sponsored the event’s breakfast and reinforced its mission in the retail media ecosystem. The summit brought together an outstanding line-up of industry voices, including Rory Sutherland, Andrew Lipsman, and Matt Hanlon. Discussions focused on the role of retail media in context-sensitive brand building, the undervalued potential of in-store audiences compared to digital footprints, and the upside of better aligning retail and trade budgets. Overall this was a great event and, across the day, a clear message emerged: leading retailers should prioritise effectiveness over efficiency by grounding strategies in real-world shopper experiences, rather than relying solely on data-driven metrics and abstractions.

Digiday Publishing Summit Europe

Location: Lisbon

Date: October 27th-29th

Angus Dowie, Head of Sales, and Sara Benkirane, Commercial Account Executive at ADvendio, attended the Digiday Publishing Summit Europe in Lisbon from October 27th to 29th. The event offered valuable opportunities to connect with leading European publishers and explore how they are navigating the rapid rise of AI.

Discussions focused on what defines fair and sustainable AI licensing agreements, how top media companies are integrating AI into their products and workflows, and the strategies emerging to prepare for a zero-click, agent-driven web.

Overall, the conference established that far from a future trend, AI has already become a core part of the day-to-day operations of forward-thinking publishers; powering content creation, transforming ad sales, optimizing subscriptions, and accelerating product development.

Unlock Summit (Part of Unmade Series)

Location: Sydney

Date: October 30th

Tony Troth, Strategic Account Manager, and Michael Coghlan, Business Development Manager APAC at ADvendio, attended the Unlock event in Sydney on October 30th.

The event explored the dynamic landscape of the 24-hour economy, the impact on consumer behaviour, and provided opportunities for brands to engage with customers.

From an ADvendio perspective, we were able to gain insights into innovative approaches that transcend traditional 9-to-5 marketing and develop initiatives to capture attention and loyalty.

It helped our team understand how the media and marketing industry can not only adapt to changing customer behaviour and emerging opportunities to engage with customers around the clock, but also lead the charge in shaping the 24-hour consumer landscape.
