This quarter, we had the pleasure of attending and sponsoring multiple events in the advertising technology sector.

The IAB & OMA Powering Digital Out of Home

Location: Sydney

Date: August 27th

The IAB & OMA Powering Digital Out of Home event was a great event to attend. It certainly helped Tony expand his knowledge of OOH/DOOH and enabled him to engage with some key target accounts. The presentations delivered technical and practical content as well as high-level and strategic planning sessions around Programmatic OOH in Australia.

Retail Media Pioneers

Location: London

Date: September 9th and 10th

Sara Benkirane, Commercial Account Executive at ADvendio, attended the inaugural Retail Media Pioneers event at the beautiful Hurlingham Club in London on 9th and 10th September. The conference brought together over 130 brands and advertisers, 75+ Retail Media Networks, and all major agencies and tech providers, making it a fantastic opportunity for ADvendio to connect with leading figures in the UK retail media landscape. The event featured leading retailers, panels, and expert discussions focused on the latest retail media strategies to enhance customer experience.

On the second day, Sara also had the pleasure of joining the Women in Retail Media Breakfast, networking with inspirational women from across the industry. It was fascinating and relevant to hear about retailers’ framework for buying from tech partners, which included Speed to Market, Cost Structure, API Quality, Local Support, and Evolution Path. Overall, Retail Media Pioneers proved to be a valuable setting for ADvendio to benchmark, brainstorm, and build relationships, while gaining insights into the industry’s evolving priorities as we head into the final months of 2025.

Digiday Retail Media Summit

Location: New York City

Date: September 10th

At Digiday’s Retail Media Strategies event in New York, brands and agencies emphasized the need for greater transparency, data clarity, and seamless execution. For ADvendio, these conversations highlighted how important it is for retailers to meet those expectations, and how streamlined ad management and robust reporting can help strengthen retailer–agency relationships in this fast-growing space.

Future of Media Technology Conference

Date: September 11th

Angus Dowie, Head of Sales, and Sara Benkirane, Commercial Account Executive at ADvendio, attended the Future of Media Technology conference by Press Gazette on 11th September. As a sponsor of the event, ADvendio was able to engage with leading figures in the digital media and publishing industries. It was a great chance to gain first-hand insight into the pressing challenges and opportunities shaping the UK’s media sector this year through panels, keynote speeches, and expert discussions led by global media leaders. Overall, it was an excellent platform for ADvendio to connect, learn, and align with the pulse of the evolving media ecosystem heading into the final months of 2025.

Digiday Publisher Summit

Date: September 15th and 17th

The Digiday Publishing Summit in Miami was a valuable opportunity to connect with publishers and media leaders navigating a period of rapid change. Conversations highlighted the push for traffic and revenue diversification, the growing role of AI-driven engagement tools, and the rise of creator partnerships as publishers look to offset shifts in referral traffic. Concerns around Google’s evolving search experience were also top of mind, reinforcing the need for streamlined ad management, scalable self-serve capabilities, and flexible integrations to help publishers stay resilient and drive sustainable growth.

DMEXCO

Location: Cologne

Date: September 17th and 18th

The European sales team attended the annual DMEXCO, an event that’s a mainstay on the events calendar. The ADvendio team, alongside exhibiting with a meeting house in the adtech hall, hosted a pre-DMEXCO drinks reception with ad serving partners Adhese, attended by publishers and retailers.

DMEXCO, as an event, consistently provides an excellent forum for networking with both old and new connections across the industry. The ADvendio team leaves DMEXCO with new connections and opportunities to build upon as we enter the end of the year.

Q3 2025: Company Review Advendio

Retail Media Unmade (REmade)

Location: Sydney

Date: September 23rd

Retail media in APAC is scaling and evolving. The REmade agenda was designed to reflect the complexity and momentum of today’s retail media landscape. Retail media is now evolving into a comprehensive, full-funnel platform for brand building, enabling advertisers to reach audiences across every touchpoint. The event centred on how retailers are creating closed-loop systems that promise precision, accountability, and loyalty. They also showcased how purchase history and omnichannel behaviour are fast becoming the most valuable media assets in the market, which ADvendio supports, particularly with our AI strategy moving forward.

It was interesting to see how retail media is no longer just for traditional advertisers; non-endemic brands from every sector, from banking and telecoms to travel, are moving in, drawn by scale, targeting potential, and proximity to purchase. With regard to technology, AI is already streamlining campaign planning and personalisation, which aligns perfectly with ADvendio’s aspirations as a business and OMS platform

In Q3, we added enhancements to our already powerful product, including but not limited to:

  • Enhanced integrations to solutions such as FreeWheel, Vistar, and Criteo SSP
  • Released our new ‘Wallet’ feature
  • Made Media Buying & Programmatic refinements
  • Advancing the Accounting and E-Invoicing functionalities

Globally Growing Team

We are pleased to announce five new additions to our team this quarter. Lucas Villarroel has joined the software development team in Chile as a Software Developer. Joaquín Guerra has joined the back office team in Chile as a Back Office Assistant. Pedro Roncato has joined the Consulting team in the US as a Consultant. Vicente Bruni has joined the consulting team in Chile as a Senior Technical Consultant. Lauren Herrig has joined the sales team in the US as an Account Executive.
